Appearance- The Samsung SF 5100 black and white, laser, fax printer and SF 5100 cartridge is real grafter while being very compact in terms of size. Considering it's a three-in- one machine it measures 9x12x13 inches and weighs an extraordinary light 6 kilograms. Unbelievable? Believe it! Paper handling- The machine has a rather limited150 sheets input and 100 sheets output capacity, with document feeding at 20 sheets. Unfortunately not all paper sizes and types are compatible with the device. Only A4, Letter and Legal sizes and plain paper type is accepted.
Print quality- The machine comes standard with Samsung's edge enhancement technology, this is most probably why the image quality is so absolutely superior. Controls- Controls are uncomplicated and overall very user friendly. Large buttons are located at the front of the machine with a 7 language LCD display. On the other hand fax transmissioning can get a little complicated but this is only due to the variety of dialling options available. Option one is the normal keying in of the fax number and then pressing start/enter button. Second options is in the form of one touch dialling if the number has been previously stored or dialled and last but not least the third option is speed dialling option where previously added numbers can be selected.
